Midwest Wind Finance and Brad Lehrman Work Together in Fast-Paced Alternative Energy Sector

Midwest Wind Finance photoAlternative energy in general and wind energy in particular is widely seen as one of the bright spots in an otherwise troubled economy. The American Wind Energy Association reported 45% growth in installed wind capacity in 2007, and political support for wind has increased since then. Currently 30 states have mandates in place to hit clean renewable energy targets. The Obama administration has signaled that support for renewable energy, including wind, will be a signature issue.

Lommen Abdo Attorney Brad Lehrman has stayed abreast of the fast paced alternative energy sector in their representation of Midwest Wind Finance. Midwest Wind Finance (MWF) has built a reputation as a national leader in financing community-scale wind projects – generally 10 to 50 Megawatts and $20 million to $100 million in project costs. Several years ago MWF identified and capitalized on a large opportunity in the fast growing community-wind segment and developed financing models to serve it. MWF’s financing model champions keeping partial ownership with the landowners and developers who start the projects.
