Lommen Abdo welcomes Dan Young as a new shareholder!
Daniel J. Young joined Lommen Abdo to practice with the firm’s corporate and entertainment groups. He focuses his business practice on mergers and acquisitions; closely-held, family, emerging, and technology businesses; real estate and venture finance; corporate governance; shareholder planning and dispute resolution; succession planning; employment; and estate & trust planning and administration. Dan also serves as outside general counsel to businesses on matters such as choice of entity and entity formation issues, intellectual property, joint ventures and strategic alliances, international ventures, e-commerce, funding and negotiation of funding, raising capital and counseling of Boards of Directors.
Dan’s clients are involved in varied industries, including marketing and advertising, e-commerce and technology, biotechnology and medical devices, entertainment and hospitality, manufacturing, professional services, venture funding and financial institutions, real estate and construction, agriculture, franchise, healthcare, retail, print and media.
He has been listed as a Super Lawyer in the Business Law category by Minnesota Super Lawyers.
Dan also tries to make a difference where he can -- volunteering with the Volunteer Lawyers Network, the Suburban Hennepin County Foreclosure Prevention Program, St. John’s Prep School - Board of Regents, Feed My Starving Children - Board of Directors, Hennepin County Ethics Review Committee, Minnesota Bar Association Moot Court Judge and serving as an adjunct professor and guest lecturer at the University of Wisconsin - River Falls, William Mitchell College of Law, Hennepin County Community College, and the University of St. Thomas.
