Lee Hutton was recently selected as one of the 25 Attorneys of the Year by Minnesota Lawyer.
| Hutton has been digging into more real estate disputes after obtaining two large verdicts in that area last year – one of the reasons he was selected for the Attorney of the Year honor. Hutton won a $732,250 verdict in a six-day trial before a Hennepin County jury in a case revolving about a seller’s duty to disclose information to a buyer. He obtained another $522,000 judgment in a bench trial before Judge Lloyd Zimmerman against a real estate agent, the same seller and the agent’s firm in a related case alleging negligent and fraudulent representation, breach of fiduciary duty and breach of contract. Hutton is always ready to take on good causes: “I say, bring it on. If there’s a good fight, I’m there.” |
