Lommen Attorneys and Paralegal Play at Attractive Nuisance Tour

10/27/2007

Lommen Abdo's very own in-house rockers Article XX played a smokin' set at the Fine Line on Friday, October 26th as part of the line-up of bands for the Fifth Annual Attractive Nuisance Tour.  Their cover of the Lowell George/F. Martin Kibbee song Dixie Chicken laid down a cool funky groove that had the crowd moving and shaking all over the place. Lommen Abdo client, Pippi Ardennia, an accomplished jazz musician and singer, declared herself "amazed" by Article XX's performance.

(L to R):  Dan Satorius (keyboards), Mark Lloyd (guitar and vocals), Paul Bezilla (bass), and Ken Abdo (drums and vocals).

The Attractive Nuisance Tour is an annual charitable event featuring musicians who are legal professionals – each band on the bill has to have at least one lawyer member – in their day jobs. The funds raised this year will be donated to the Minnesota Justice Foundation and the Hennepin County Bar Foundation to help provide legal services for people with limited financial resources.

Check out the article that appeared in the October 25th Star Tribune and the October Minnesota Lawyer concerning the Attractive Nuisance Tour. Ken Abdo was interviewed for both articles.
