The Residence Club at Giants Ridge is a new, luxury fractional ownership development, located within the 2000 acre Giants Ridge Golf and Ski Resort, in Biwabik, Minnesota. Lommen Abdo client, RCMM, LLC, is a co-developer of the planned 27 single-family home development.
Giants Ridge, owned and operated by Iron Range Resources, an agency of the State of Minnesota, is Minnesota’s finest four-season resort, featuring gorgeous lakes, two world-class golf courses, miles of hiking and biking trails and, in the winter, well-maintained alpine, cross country, snow-boarding, tubing and snowmobiling facilities. Stan Dobrin, RCMM President and long-time client of Lommen Abdo and Roger Stageberg, designed the concept and structured the financing. RCMM also directs all marketing, sales and management activities.
Each furnished and equipped home will have approximately 3400 square feet and four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. First occupancy was in the fall of 2010.
Each Member of the Club will own a deeded, undivided 10% interest in one of the homes, but will have unlimited access and usage of any available home, subject only to the Club’s Reservation and Use Rules. The Club’s unique credit system allows owners totally flexible usage - for a few days, a week or longer.
Owners automatically become Members of the Club’s Owners Association, also a Lommen Abdo client. The Association is responsible for all management and maintenance of the property.
