Brent Johnson is a member of the firm’s Wisconsin office in Hudson. He practices in the areas of real estate and construction law, including commercial and residential transactions and litigation. Mr. Johnson advises individuals, as well as real estate brokers, title examiners, developers, builders and other business entities. He represents parties involved in land sales and acquisitions and in the purchase and sale of businesses. His litigation practice includes land and property disputes, contract disputes and claims involving homeowners, businesses and realtors. Mr. Johnson also handles disputes among shareholders and business partners, real estate transactions and general corporate and business matters. Prior to joining Lommen Abdo in 1995, Mr. Johnson served as a judicial clerk for the Minnesota Court of Appeals. He was an associate editor of the William Mitchell Law Review, where he authored a publication addressing the admissibility of remedial evidence in strict liability actions. He has also worked with then Minnesota Chief Deputy Attorney General John Tunheim in drafting an article entitled “Criminal Justice: Expanded Protections Under the Minnesota Constitution.” Mr. Johnson lives in Hudson and is active in the St. Croix River Valley communities.
