Ms. Westad also handles Vaccine Claims with the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program in the Court of Federal Claims in Washington D.C. We represent injured claimants on a national basis and only a small group of attorneys in the U.S. handle these claims. Claimants only have three years from the first onset of symptoms after receipt of the vaccine in order to make a claim in this program. Thus, identifying vaccine related injuries and contacting a vaccine attorney, or referring persons injured by a vaccine to a vaccine attorney, is crucial in protecting prospective claimant's rights.

Ms. Westad is also a strong supporter and advocate for women and has a particular interest in assisting injured women in all areas of personal injury litigation. She has also successfully represented women in family law disputes. Ms. Westad has been listed as a Minnesota Super Lawyer since 2014 and was on the Rising Stars list by Minnesota Super Lawyers from 2009 to 2013. She was also included as an “Up and Coming Attorney” by Minnesota Lawyer.  One of her personal injury cases was included in Lawsuits of the Year for 2008.
