Panel description: This panel of experienced attorneys and industry experts will discuss the elements and defenses of avoidance actions in bankruptcy, including preference actions under 11 U.S.C. § 547, fraudulent transfer claims under 11 U.S.C. § 548, as well as key features of the new Minnesota Voidable Transactions Act (UVTA) effective August 1, 2015 and proposed changes to Chapter 5 of the Bankruptcy Code.
