Litigation Practice
Lommen Abdo has a strong, experienced commercial litigation practice in both the state and federal courts. Lawyers within this group have earned designations as Best Lawyers in America, “Leading American Attorneys,” and “Super Lawyers” by Minnesota Law & Politics. Newer members of the group have earned the designation of “Rising Stars” in the Minnesota litigation community.
The Commercial Litigation Section is chaired by Phil Cole, a certified civil trial specialist. He is certified on both the state and national level, obtaining certification in Civil Trial Advocacy from the National Board of Trial Advocacy and the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys. Other members of the Commercial Litigation Section include

Brett Clark and Bryan Feldhaus.
Lommen Abdo’s commercial litigation practice covers a diverse array of issues, including complex litigation involving contract disputes, construction litigation, mechanics’ liens, insurance coverage, securities, and other business-related disputes. The firm devotes substantial resources to
litigation involving professionals, including doctors, lawyers, and accountants in professional liability disputes. It also prosecutes class actions, such as
Fogie v. Rent-A-Center, a case which resulted in a judgment of over $30 million dollars, payable to 23,000 individuals in Minnesota.
