A new formula for calculating financial obligations is among the changes
in child support law that took effect on January 1, 2007. The new formula
includes both parents' incomes to determine each parent's share of the cost
of raising a child. The change applies to actions filed with the court after
January 1, 2007. You can find more information about these changes,
including a support calculator, on the Department of Human Services web
site or contact one of our attorneys listed below. Our lawyers strive to provide each client with the personal service their case demands.
