Marc Johannsen recently was recognized by the Northern Star Council of the Boy Scouts of America for his volunteer work when he was awarded the Silver Beaver Award. This nomination-only award is the highest award a council can bestow upon a volunteer and recognizes superior service to scouting and to the broader community. Marc has been a volunteer in Scouting since 2005 and is currently the Scoutmaster of Troop 494 in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, and is the District Commissioner for Many Waters District located in northern Ramsey, Washington, Chisago and Pine Counties.  Erik, Marc’s son, achieved the Eagle Scout rank earlier this year. Marc is a shareholder and board member of Lommen Abdo and practices exclusively in the area of family law in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
