Kay Hunt spoke on February 25, 2011 at a seminar presented by the Hennepin County Bar Association on the topic, “Watch and Learn: A Unique Approach to Learning About Effective Motion Practice.”

Program description:
One of the best ways to learn how to argue motions effectively is to watch the best lawyers do it. Another is to hear judges and experienced practitioners give tips on what does, and what does not, work in presenting motions. In this unique CLE, you can get the benefit of both. In this one hour CLE, well known lawyers Eric Magnuson and Kay Nord-Hunt will argue a mock motion before Hennepin County District Court Judge Jay Quam. The argument will be followed by a discussion filled with tips on how to prepare for your argument and how to present yourself well.
