Lommen Abdo is joining other Twin Cities area law firms in the fight to end hunger through Second Harvest Heartland’s first annual Overrule Hunger competition! Through September 21st, lawyers, their staffs, vendors, clients and other connections will compete to support Second Harvest Heartland and the 1 in 8 children in Minnesota who are hungry. Donations made during the campaign will be matched by a group of generous donors, up to $30,000!
Winners will be based on the most raised per capita for small, medium, and large firms. Firms will be awarded with a traveling trophy to showcase throughout the year, and bragging rights within the legal community. But the biggest winner will be the kids who have enough to eat.
Lommen Abdo has long been a supporter of Second Harvest Heartland, most often providing financial support with a donation in the name of our clients during the holiday season. But this year, we’ve been asked to do something a bit different – join five other local firms to raise funds for the organization in an online campaign that runs for just two weeks – September 10th to September 21st.
