Lommen Abdo has its roots in the 1940s. Many of the lawyers and support staff have been with the firm for 25, 30 and even 40 years! Lommen Abdo has taken on leadership roles in professional liability, RICO and usury, vaccine, legal malpractice litigation matters and business deals. Once known as an insurance defense firm, over the past four decades its litigation focus has shifted to include commercial litigation, such as shareholder and intellectual property disputes, medical malpractice and wrongful death, and other complex litigation and appeals. The firm has also expanded its corporate practice in the areas of executive compensation and severance packages, mergers and acquisitions, transportation and estate planning. It has also expanded the business practice of its Hudson office, which was opened over 30 years ago. We have a diverse practice set which allows us to address a wide variety of client issues.

Through the years, Lommen Abdo has continued to successfully reposition its overall practice with several strategic mergers and lateral hires. Lommen Abdo does not have a formal summer associate program. We hire both law clerks and associates as a need arises.
