Jenneane Jansen focuses her practice on appeals and motions, mainly in the areas of administrative law, insurance coverage and insurance bad faith. Ms. Jansen represents a variety of clients in the Twin Cities metropolitan area and throughout Minnesota. Over the course of her career, she has helped several clients to recover multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements in a variety of cases.
After graduating from Swarthmore College, Ms. Jansen received her law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. She is admitted to practice before Minnesota state courts, the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit, the Minnesota Supreme Court and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Ms. Jansen is active in professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Hennepin County Bar Association, Minnesota Women Lawyers, the Swarthmore College Alumni Council and the Douglas K. Amdahl American Inn of Court.
Enthusiastic about volunteer work, Ms. Jansen regularly provides free legal advice or assistance to indigent and low-income clients. She has also been involved with Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid, and the Minnesota State Bar Association has repeatedly named her a “North Star Lawyer” for performing over 50 hours of volunteer work during the previous year.
Dedicated to sharing her legal knowledge with others, Ms. Jansen has also lectured and published on various legal topics throughout her career.
She has been named a Super Lawyer by her peers more than a dozen times, has repeatedly been listed on the Top 50 Women Minnesota Super Lawyers and was named one of 25 top appellate lawyers in 2003 in Minnesota.
